Sunday December 7, 2014

Hi Cassidy! In GERMANY!!!
I hope this email finds you well. I'm sure you're still adjusting to even the time change, not to mention the language and new companion, etc!

We were able to see on Wed. (the day after your arrival) we were able to see the picture of your group's arrival at the Berlin airport on your mission President's blog. Then on Thurs. we saw your picture with your new companion! Then on Fri. we got an email from Pres. Kosak that let us know he'd met with you and assigned you and Sis. Lisonbee to Halle! We googled Halle (how do you say it in German?) and it looks pretty cool! Of course I have a million questions...

How were the rest of your flights?
Did you sleep?
Who was there to pick you up?
How did you feel when you got there?
Where did you sleep the first night?
Did you meet your companion the next day?
Where is she from? How is she?
How in the world has it been since then?
How's the food?
Have you eaten mostly with members?
How's your apartment?
Money situation?

I could go on and on! But, you know, take lots of pictures and tell us all the details!

We're doing just fine here. It's busy as usual, but good. Just getting ready for Christmas and such. I finally finished decorating. It took a week. Yesterday we watched the Gardner kids for a while so Adam could work. Brooke took a quick trip down to Vegas to see Britt and family.

Chalis has had a few more complications the past week. She's now on bed rest and they're hoping she can make it to December 18th. If she does the plan is she'll have to go in to the hospital and they'll try to keep the babies in for as long as possible. I guess the 18th would be the date if they're born they have a chance of surviving.

Anyway - that's all the news I can think of right now. We're mostly all just hoping you're doing good and we can't wait to hear from you!

I'll send you a couple of pictures in another email.

I love you so much! You're in my prayers constantly throughout each day!
Love - Mom
